Notes: 2 biblical epigraphs on title page: Deuteronomy 33:12: 'The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safetie with him, who protecteth him all the day long'; Psalm 84: 10: 'One day in thy Courts is better then a thousand other where.' 2-page dedication addressed 'To the Right Vertuous, High, and Mightie Prince, King James, our dread Soveraigne, by the grace of God, King of England, Scotland, France and Ireland, defender of the faith, &c.long life, happie daies, and most prosperous raigne.' A second edition with the same dedication was printed in 1604 [see STC 21216].
