A shipment of various merchandise from Livorno to an unspecified destination. The voyage began on 4 September 1718, departing from the port of Livorno. It reached Bonifacio and remained there for twenty-five days, delayed by the threat of corsairs in the surrounding waters. After setting sail again, the vessel proceeded along the eastern coast of Sardinia, and faced a corsair ship as it approached the promontory of Capo Comino. The corsairs closed in rapidly, and to escape the threat the crew fled in their skiff, leaving behind all cargo or possessions. The corsairs seized both the ship and the skiff, and despite firing four cannon shots, the crew managed to flee unharmed, hiding among rocks along the coastline. The entire vessel, its lifeboat, and all merchandise were lost to the attackers. The captain and crew then proceeded to Posada to give a formal testimony of damages before the local authorities on 9 October.
