Obedient to Islam Purshottam chaudhri and Paras Ram qanungo of pargana Dhar should be informed that
the ʿarzdasht that you had recently sent has arrived. That which you had written about the performance of work and the populating of
the pargana and [your] loyalty towards the exalted government has been represented and made evident. Since
this person has [I have] recently settled the affairs of this area,
He [I] will set out in that [your] direction. It is necessary that until arriving there, [you] make efforts night and day
and be engaged in collecting the dues of the government, and make efforts such that the money that is due to the government always
day by day reaches the treasury. And the habit of loyalty and populating [of the pargana],
which is the cause for glorious results, should be your practice, and make such efforts that
after [our] reaching those areas,
your loyalty becomes obvious. And according to [your]
loyalty to these ends, you will be glorified [rewarded]. Surely
you know wherein your welfare lies and will implement it.
