Nawazish Khan orders that landlord (chaudhri) Purshottam Das should have possession of a mansion (haveli). After tearing down the mansion, he should send the wood from it to the Lord.

, being hopeful of favour and kindness,
2know that at this time it was petitioned that the haveli in which
Bulaqi Chand
was [living],
3belongs to him [i.e.,
Purshottam Das
]. Therefore, by way of assistance, we ordered the aforesaid haveli [to be] presented to him.
4It is necessary that the aforesaid haveli is torn down [and] however much wood there shall be, is sent to the
Lord. And
5according to past custom that place shall be taken into his possession and he
shall be engaged and
6occupied with loyalty towards and prosperity of the government. In this matter
7knowing it firmly settled, do not neglect to do what is ordered. Written on the
