Order of Muhammad Ali Khan to Nathmal regarding receipt of payment and the delivery of sheesham wood

1زبدة الاقران نتهمل پسر چودری پرسوتم اجاره دار جاملی بعنایت امیدوار بوده بداند
2عرضه داشتی که درینولا با مبلغ سیصد و چهار عدد روپیه ارسال داشته بود
3رسید ثانی الحال مبلغ مذکور بموجب قبض حضور مجری خواهند یافت آنچه
4در باب چوب شیشم نوشته بود که چون جنگل بسیار است
5بنابران چوب مذکور بریده نمی شود معلوم آن زبده الاقران باد که
6قبل ازین پروانه صادر شده بود که چوب مزبور سربراه نموده به پرگنه
7 بروده بفرستند الحال مقرر شد که چوب مسطور بحضور ارسال دارد و بر طبق1

1Eminent among Contemporaries Nathmal, son of chaudhri Purshottam [Das] [and] ijaradar of Jamli, having hoped for kindness, should know
2the ʿarzdasht that recently you had sent with the sum of three hundred and four rupees
3has arrived. Hence, the aforementioned sum will be routed towards payment of the Lord. [Regarding] that which
4was written with regard to sheesham wood, [to wit] that since there is lots of jungle
5[and] due to this, the aforementioned wood cannot be cut, that Eminent among Contemporaries [you] should know that
6previously, a parvana had been issued so that the aforementioned wood should be supplied and sent to the pargana
7Barod[i]a. Now it is determined that the aforementioned wood shall be sent to the Lord. And accordingly,
8it shall be done as written.
9And the balance for the previous amount and the amount of the current amount
10- as complete as possible - should be sent quickly. If
11in this matter there will be too much delay, then subsequently [a rider]
12will be sent. What more should be written?
