Courageous in Manner Sultan Muhammad, being comforted by the favour of remembrance2 , know that recently from the declaration of the servant of Wazir Khan,
Ahmad Beg Khan, and from the contents of the ʿarz of Purshottam [Das] chaudhri of Dhar, it became known that the said chaudhri and the chaudhri
of Nalcha delivered the money for the security of the chaudhri of Amjhera, except for the money that they have claimed for the surety of the chaudhri of Kanpil [Kampel].
And from that total amount, a little [money] is due, and hence it is written that that which is the share of the chaudhri
of Dhar – that is, Purshottam – is outstanding from him. Until the last dam for this amount has been deposited, he should
bring himself to the Lord. And for procuring the money that they have claimed from the chaudhri of Kanpil [Kampel], let there be no obstruction
so that we will summon the chaudhri of Kanpil [Kampel] to our presence and decide this matter in accordance with the law.
Execute [it] as written. And let the remaining sum for the share of the chaudhri of Dhar and Nalcha until the [last] dam be brought and deposited.
Know this matter as settled. Written on the date of 27 Muharram the Holy, [regnal] year 9.
