بمنّه تعالى

By the Grace of God

1اقر السيد هلال بن سعيد بن محمد بن سليمان البسعيدي بأن عليه لرطنسيه بن برشوتم البانياني ثلاثة ارباع قرش فضه
2و ثلاثة قروش افرنسيسيات فضة واربعين قرشا فضة افرنسيسياً و مأتين قرش فضة افرنسيسي و قد باع له بحقه
3هذا ماله القطعة اللذي شرقي الساقية من الباده التاسعة من حيل الغاف بما بها النخل والفسل والشجر و ماله
4من الحدود والطرق والسواقي مع مشربه المعتاد لسقيه من فلج حیل الغاف على دوب اواده بيع القطع وله الإقالة
5في ذلك الى مضي تسعة اشهر زمانا من يومنا هذا باقراره له بذلك بتاريخ يوم العشرين من شهر شوال ١٣٠٥
6و كتبه الفقير حمود بن عبدالله بن محمد المنذري بيده

1The Sayyed Hilal bin Said bin Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Busaidi acknowledges that he owes Ratansi bin Purshottam Al-Banyani three-quarters of a silver qirsh
2and three silver French qurush, and forty silver French qurush, and two hundred French qurush, and that he has sold to him his rights to
3this land that is east of the irrigation canal, including the ninth time-share in Hayl Al-Ghaf, and what it has in palms and saplings and trees and what appertains to it
4in terms of boundaries and roads and irrigation canals, and its usual amount of irrigation from the falaj of Hayl Al-Ghaf … [and this is] a complete sale, and he has the right to cancel
5it for up to nine months’ time from this date, by his acknowledgment of it, this twentieth day of Shawwal 1305.
6And it was written by the wretched Hamoud bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Mandhiri, by his own hand.
