Notes: English prose account of Prince Henry's baptism, which took place in 1594. The account includes the text of a short Latin hexameter verse performed during the ceremony [sigs.D2v-D3r]. Originally printed by Robert Waldegrave, probably in Edinburgh, in 1594 with slightly different spelling in the title [STC 11214.6]. What is likely to have been a London edition followed in the same year, printed by Peter Short [STC 11214.7]. Fowler's name does not appear anywhere on the work. The attribution here is taken from ODNB.
