Transcription: Et havendo navigato felicemente fino al di 22 del sudetto mese ritrovandosi in tali giorno trenta leghe in circa lontano dalla Sardegna incontrò burrasca furiosissima di venti a segno di maestri e tramontane con gravi fortune di mare che i colpi [pasavano] spesse volte dall’una all’altra parte di detta sua nave facendo nella sentina gran quantita d’acqua. Che per cio’ convenne al signore comparente fare ammainare tutte le vele eccettuata la maestra, e fare aggottare d’hora un’hora dalli suoi marinari con le trombe
