While the captain took a small boat to find a pilot to bring the ship to shore, there was a frost and the ship was frozen in the ice. It took two small boats with pilots and sixteen men to break a path to the ship, and one of the small boats had to be abandoned. With the storm continuing, the ship's entry into the port was very difficult and at one point they were forced to cut loose one of the large anchors. |

| Transcription: | Io Nicolo Rusman nel medessimo tempo con la battella vagavo si la rivera per trovare uno pilotto et arrivamo cosi alla 7 detto conforma sono consapevole et attestano li amici tanto sotte scriti et altri qui in archangelo et l’istessa note gelava tanto che il [Rivere] era serrato e per questa fu necessitato de nolegiare et pigliare in [agiunte?] due altre battelle et 2 piloti con 16 Huomini per rompere il giaccio per potere andare a borda della nave et con mile pericoli de vite in detta travaglia besogniato lasciare nel giaccia una di sudette battelle et finalmente al 13 detto arrivavamo a borda e subito con la nave se sarpo et fece vele et arrivo avante la riviere sopra 5 passe de acqua dove de nuvo [sic] se diede fondo stante che vera nebia et tempo schuro [sic] che non se vedeva dove andare et continuo sin al 14 detto et il 15 si avanzo il Burasc. de modo tal che [?] vedeva pericoli de perdere la nave et gente furino forsato per salvare tagliare la gumina nova et abandonarla col anchora magior e cosi entravorno dentro la revere benche sin due volta la nave tocca fondo fin tanto che remasse nel giaccio fermo e cosi et in persona de novo sono andata in archangelo et alli 17 dette denotato l’avaria |
