| Transcription: | That in the prosecu- tion of said intended voyage, encoun- tered very bad weather, and particularly in cros- sing the Bay of Biscany, when strong contrary gales of wind from the Southward and westward prevailed, with a heavy head sea, which so re- tarded the vessel's pro- gress, that fearing they would run shortly of fuel, they put into Lisbon on the Eleventh: left again on the twelfth, reached Gibraltar |
