Cargo consisting of Sundry and divers merchandize from Southampton to Gibraltar, Genoa,  Loghorn, Civita Vecchia, Naples, Messina and Malta, and having on board likewise Government Stores for this last mentioned port. Transcription: That in the prosecu- tion of said intended voyage, encoun- tered very bad weather, and particularly in cros- sing the Bay of Biscany, when strong contrary gales of wind from the Southward and westward prevailed, with a heavy head sea, which so re- tarded the vessel's pro- gress, that fearing they would run shortly of fuel, they put into Lisbon on the Eleventh: left again on the twelfth, reached Gibraltar
