Voyage description:
Cargo of Ballast replaced with Sulphur. Unknown Origin with a stop in Mirata where cargo replacement took place. Enctountered a storm and headed for Malta for repairs.
Transcription: A vibrant squall came on, and threw the Vessel on her [Beam ?] [ends ?], cut the sheets and Hallyards to lighten her, and the sails blew all to pieces at 8 a.m. being about 8 miles off the land, still blowing a hurricane, bent the storm ivysails, for foresail, double reeft, at Noon bent another jib, on the 8th commences with a strong gale of wind from the Westward at 1 a.m. made Capo Passero wind West the light bearing N.E. wove Ship to the Southward, at 8 a.m. the wind shifted round to the N.E. sailed into Malta
