Transcription: | Two hours after, the appearer the Mate William Weston Leander, Seaman and George Hicks, Apprentice, were attacked by Yellow Fever, and on the following day, other two seamen and the cook. On the eighteenth a seventh man was attacked, out of a crew of twelve in all, including the appearer the Master, under which circumstances this latter had no other alternative than to bear up, which they accordingly did at noon, and running for the harbour with a heavy sea on the Bar, and dark squally weather, they brought up inside of the Port by midnight |
