From the 5th to the 10th of January the ship was sailing between Capraia and Livorno but the strong contrary winds and gusts made it impossible to get to the Livorno spiaggia. Eventually the ship took refuge in the bay of La Spezia. |

| Transcription: | Dalli 5 fino alli 10 Gennaro ei ritrovammo fra la capraia e Livorno con più sorte di venti contrarii e tanto galgiardi che non fù possible poter mai pigliare la spiaggia di Livorno essendo stati necessitati andare al Golfo della Spetia, havendo la nave molto patita poiche per la gran tempesta e quantità d’acqua che per di sotto e sopra entrava in nave arrivò più volte fino alla camera della polvere non ostante che del continuo s’aggotasse con la Tromba et altre diligenze possibili e cosi gattosi il tempo al quanto meglio ripreso il loro camino con l’agiuto* di Dio si condussero a salvamento in questo porto il di 24 del corrente |
