Transcription: Travandomi navigando alli 19 di Giugno passato del corrento anno stile d’Inghilterra nella costa di Portogallo in altura di quarantatre gradi e mezzo mi sopravenisse una gran burrasca di vento norte con grandi colpi di nave che passavano sopra la coverta di detta mia nave la quale si empiva di acqua e entrava sotto coverta che durò detta burrasca e colpi di mare ventiquattro hore qualche fece la detta sua nave molta acqua la quale continaumente andavano aggotando con le trombe e continuando d’aggottare l’acqua proseguii il mio viaggio
