The ship set off from Napoli with a cargo of wines, galls, rags, and a windmill, bound for Talamone, Livorno and Genova. Between ‘Paulo’ and Santa Severa they encountered a storm. They were unable to enter the bay of ‘Linaro’ and had to continue to endure the weather.

During the storm the yards were broken and they lost their sails, which were new. After a consultation they decided to make a jettison. After this the ship handled better and they made it into Capo D’Anza and weighed anchor near Netturo. When the storm died down they went to Civita Vecchia where they made their consolato.
