Per sfuggire ad alcuni corsari che seguivano la nave e su ordine di uno dei mercanti a bordo si rifugiarono presso le isole di Hyères gettando l'ancora. Si rompono 2 gomene e si perdono le relative ancore, mentre ancora si sgotta con le trombe. Dopo 4 giorni si riparte. Si temono danni al carico.
