| Litigation | A curatore was elected to represent the absent merchants - Dr Michele Moneta. He made several vague objections: that the consolato was not true, that it had not been made in the proper form, that the events in it had not been proved but were all related fraudelently. This was thus most likely a simulacrum of opposition. However, the consuls explicitly reduced the amount awarded in their sentence. |
