31-01-1600 Storm with north-westerly winds. Lasts two days before the jettison and two days after. At some point the mainsail rips in the wind and they are forced to cut it away. It also breaks the 'sperone'.

02-02-1600 After two days of the storm they consult the seamen and merchants and make a jettison of brazilwood, metal, and other things pertaining to the ships crew.
