Extra information from the source
The testimoniale does not clearly record what happens in the harbour but it emerges from other documents associated with the case (notarised interviews with other captains) that the ship could hardly remain on top of the water thanks to the damage it sustained, that the small boats of eight other ships assisted it into the harbour and that it was bound up using three sails. This is one possible explanation for why the ship does not contribute to the average: that it was almost completely destroyed and was declared 'innavigable'.

The captain demands 900 scudi for damage done to the ship in the testimoniale, but this was not awarded.
